For the second time, ultra-luxury line Silversea Cruises will deploy Silver Shadow in Alaska in 2006 on itineraries from Vancouver and San Francisco.
Silver Shadow entered service in September 2000. The 28,250-grt all suite ship is 610 feet in length. This makes her the smallest of the "big ships" in Alaska in 2006.
The minimum suite size is 287 sq. ft. and 80 percent have balconies. They feature large, marble bathrooms, walk-in closets and spacious sitting areas. Terry robes and slippers, high end bathroom amenities are some of the luxurious extras found in your suite.
Shadow carries 382 passengers giving her a passenger-space ratio of 74, the hightest in Alaska this year. Passengers travel in luxury and style with superb service.
A computer center, library, cigar lounge, champagne bar, observation lounge, fitness center, outdoor swimming pool, spa, two-deck show lounge, casino and shops are found on board. Open seating dining is offered in the dining room with two alternative venues available. Meals can also be served in-suite.
In addition to your suite, meals and entertainment, Silver Shadow's fares include all beverages - including daily replenishment of the in-suite bar - and gratuities.
Silversea does not offer any children's programs on board.
