Crystal Harmony

Crystal Cruises will once again send the Crystal Harmony to Alaska in 2005. Sailing from San Francisco on 12-night sailings, Harmony will call in Vancouver regularly over the summer.

Crystal Cruises consistently wins awards for its sophisticated, upscale cruise experience. The line is noted for its attention to detail. For example, there is a different set of china for every meal. Staterooms are spacious, the smallest being 183 sq. ft. and all have a sitting area. For 2005, the expanded on board enrichment program includes guests from the world of music, theatre, gastronomy as well as university level lecturers. Representatives from Berlitz, Yamaha, the Parsons School of Design, Barnes and Noble, the Tai Chi Cultural centre and many other leading educators give complimentary classes aboard ship.

Crystal inaugurated challenging hiking and kayaking shore excursion options on their Alaska cruises back in 2001 and they have proved extremely popular. Crystal conducted a survey which showed their Alaska excursions were ranked highest of its worldwide programs by past passengers. The #1 rated excursion was the Helicopter Glacier Trek in Juneau followed by Hike and Float the Chilkoot Trail.
